At VMClouds, we are elated by our recent endeavor that has set new benchmarks in sports broadcasting in Nigeria. Teaming up with our esteemed client, AfroSport Lagos, we’ve played a pivotal role in redefining the sports entertainment frontier through our groundbreaking solutions.

Project Overview

Spanning a vast 500-square meter expanse, our project covered the gamut of contemporary sports broadcasting – from a state-of-the-art studio space to a modern office area. As a leading system integrator, we metamorphosed this area into a premium broadcasting hub, adept at showcasing major events like the CAF, Premier League, and more. Our crowning moment was spotlighting the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2021 held in Cameroon.

When Nigeria became the cynosure for the African Cup of Nations, we were at the forefront, ensuring every moment of the tournament was broadcasted with impeccable clarity. The games, rife with electrifying matches and iconic moments, were magnified by our relentless efforts. We combined strategic partnerships with avant-garde technology to beam the AFCON to a massive audience, underscoring our resolve to offer unparalleled entertainment experiences.

Technical Ingenuity

Harnessing the prowess of Satellite SNG and the SRT streaming protocol, we channeled content to over 15 distinguished Nigerian TV channels. This avant-garde approach guaranteed expansive reach while maintaining supreme standards of quality and reliability.

  • Studio Design: A virtual green studio with diverse designs for each program, using a mix of SDI/NDI technology
  • Studio Space: 300 square meters, inclusive of a gallery
  • Control Rooms: 1 Master Control Room (MCR) and Transmission (TX)
  • Camera Tech: NewTek NDI 4K PTZ cameras
  • Automation: Auto-Q system
  • Lighting: LED studio lighting, managed by a DMX-512 console
  • Audio: A blend of analog and digital audio controls, including wireless neck and handheld microphones

  • Professionally curated network featuring VLANs catering to both office and production needs
  • Transmission: Flexibility with SNG and other streaming protocols, notably using SRT to relay the final broadcast to over 15 TV channels within Nigeria
